I’m living in suburban Atlanta, but I’m a West Cost guy at heart and demeanor. Having spent most of my adult life in San Francisco, I’m finding that things are just a little different here in Georgia.
What you can expect to read in The Red Clay Report: Damned if I know. I didn’t have plan when I started this thing. Some things amuse me, and I like to pass them along, whether they are video clips, jokes, things I see, or stories about my kids. So that will be a large chunk of what takes up the space.
I am also determined to discover what the city of Atlanta and the surrounding environs have to offer. So, when I go out on the town and find something that is worth noting, I’ll write about that, too.
I don’t know if I can do slice-of-life blogging… others do it much better (check out The Sonia Show for an example). And I purposely haven’t waded into the political yet, mainly because I don’t know anything about local or Georgia state politics, and the national scene is oversaturated with blogs by everyone from the truly knowledgeable to kooks who need their ISP privileges revoked.
So check in every once in a while. I’m not jaded enough to think that what I write is must-read material. But occasionally I’ll hit on something… maybe…
