OK, so my old laptop is toast. It’s been locking up and/or shutting down several times a day for months now.
So I went online (while the crappy thing was working) and ordered a brand spanking new one. It arrived today and this is my first post on my new machine. It didn’t cost all that much, but it is oh-so-much better than the dinosaur I was working on before.
But, I suppose, every time you upgrade from what was once cutting edge to what is now cutting edge, the new one makes the old one look obsolete. Case in point, there was a time when people actually used a machine called the Tandy TRS-80 Model 4 from Radio Shack. And check out the price!?!
And as primitive as the TRS-80 Model 4 seems today, it is light-years away from someone’s 1969 concept of the future.
