OK, so, as a guy, I’m always a little geeked out by a good cannon. Figure out some way to launch a projectile through a tube at a high rate of speed that leads to an explosive impact, I’m there.

Last fall, when I took the kids out to a farm near Athens, Ga. to get their pumpkins for Halloween, there was extra farm fun, like the corn maze, piglet races (the girl put her money on a little one named Bacon, which won; her prize was a rubber pig snout, which she wore for the rest of the day).

This woman obviously likes working with clay, and there must be others who do, too, otherwise there wouldn’t be a (public access?) television show about it, but usually, I would just keep surfing until I found an old Abbott & Costello movie or something.

Still, there is something kinda mesmerizing about this video of a woman showing the best technique to make a good mug, but I just can’t put my finger on it.

Now, are you goning to drink from that mug?
