Yes, But Is It Art?

My latest painting: “A Winter’s Ride.” I was listening to John Hiatt’s “Same Old Man” CD and heard this verse:

Gray and chalky, like my granddaddy’s skin
The sky was cold and lonely and closing in
All the trees looked like stubble on Winter’s chin
And I think I’ll ride my pony.”

This painting is what I ended up with.
